Guide to creating your Puppy Poster!

These are our best advice on how to create the Puppy Poster of your dreams!

Choosing your photo

When creating a handmade illustration, almost any photo is good enough! Don't worry, we will let you know if ther is any issue with your photo.

For the quality prints: our tool will let you know if your image is too small, so don’t worry! We have placed minimum recommendations regarding the image size in terms of pixels. Your image should be at least 1200 x 1600 pixels, which our tool will check for you automatically!

The image size warning looks like this:

If your photo is too small you can try the following:

  • If you have zoomed on the photo in our tool, try zooming out again
  • Make sure you use the original picture, i.e. the original photograph. Avoid using a screenshot, for example
  • Try uploading a larger photo

More tips for choosing photo

Usually it is best if the image you use is taken by your own smartphone camera, or if the original image is emailed to you. Images that have been sent to you via message services such as MMS, iMessage or WhatsApp could have been automatically made smaller.

For a handmade illustration a screenshot or similar is fine, we will let you know if there would be anything wrong with your photo.

Choosing text

What you write on your poster is completely up to you! Most of our customers write the name and breed of their pet, but you can just as well write a date, a place or whatever you like!
